But some of those fans are feeling a little bit nervous following the news that David Grivel, the director on the project, has left Ubisoft.<\/p>\n<p>Grivel announced his departure on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:6985690674448793600\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LinkedIn<\/a> page (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.videogameschronicle.com\/news\/splinter-cell-remakes-director-has-left-ubisoft\/\">VGC<\/a>), where he said that after 11 years at Ubisoft, &#8220;it is now time for me to go on a new adventure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;11 years is a long time and summing it up in one post is quasi-impossible but I must say, I\u2019ve been lucky,&#8221; Grivel wrote. &#8220;Lucky to work with so many great people over the years. Made so many friends.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From Ubisoft Paris (Ghost Recon Future Soldier), to Ubisoft Toronto (Splinter Cell Blacklist, Assassin\u2019s Creed Unity, Far Cry Primal, 5, 6 and Splinter Cell Remake), I\u2019ve had the opportunity to work on many franchises that I love as a gamer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Grivel is only one man, and studio employees\u2014even those in leadership positions\u2014move around with some regularity.
