And it seems like I&#8217;m not the only one who dug the anime&#8217;s interpretation of Night City. Cyberpunk 2077&#8217;s player count has jumped up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/cyberpunk-2077-is-now-pulling-in-more-than-1-million-players-per-day\/\">to an impressive million people per day<\/a>. And for the last two weeks, the Cyberpunk 2077 Nexusmods page has increasingly been populated with Edgerunners-inspired mods. I&#8217;ve counted about 30 so far, released since September 15.<\/p>\n<p>There are quite a few character presets and customization options: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/cyberpunk2077\/mods\/5311\">David&#8217;s haircut<\/a> lets you get your spiky hairdo on, or you could download <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/cyberpunk2077\/mods\/5327\">a facial preset<\/a> to recreate the character, though a lot of the personality&#8217;s lost in the transition from 2D. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/cyberpunk2077\/mods\/5324\">This face preset for Lucy<\/a>\u2014one of several\u2014looks a bit better, and has racked up almost 8,000 downloads so far.<\/p>\n<p>There are a few other cool aesthetic mods, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/cyberpunk2077\/mods\/5276?tab=description\">Rebecca&#8217;s pistols<\/a>, but most are inspired by the show&#8217;s music or general aesthetic. There are multiple menu replacement or music replacement mods: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/cyberpunk2077\/mods\/5263\">this radio station<\/a> adds 13 tracks from the show into the game, for example. This tracks if you&#8217;ve seen the show: the <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/6NeKXYIKjDVCqfCIg9l9J8\">pop soundtrack<\/a> is excellently curated and really elevates some of the action scenes and character moments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So far none of the Edgerunners mods are particularly big, but since CD Projekt Red recently released some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/cdprs-big-cyberpunk-event-also-included-some-extensive-new-mod-tools\/\">more powerful modding tools<\/a>, maybe there&#8217;s a chance we&#8217;ll see NPCs or even quests based on the show make their way into the game.
