Thanks to increased production, some Q4 Steam Deck orders, which were scheduled to ship later this year, are being fulfilled as I write.<\/p>\n<p>The last batch of Q3 Steam Deck email reservations, which were estimated to come between July and September, went out today as Valve said it has beaten its &#8220;production estimates yet again.&#8221; Reservation emails for the Q4 time frame are now being sent out. <\/p>\n<p>If you get a Steam Deck reservation email, you have 72 hours to complete the transaction, and then if all goes optimally you&#8217;ll be playing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/cult-of-the-lamb-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cult of the Lamb<\/a> on your couch in a matter of days. Just make sure your shipping and billing info is up-to-date.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to this short <a href=\"https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/games\/1675200\/announcements\/detail\/3398551594416099574\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog post<\/a>, Valve has been &#8220;speeding through reservations at an accelerated pace.&#8221; Valve has doubled production of the Steam Deck <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/valve-is-ramping-up-steam-deck-production-as-q3-reservation-emails-go-out-this-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">every week since June<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Valve has also updated the Steam Deck product page to say that anyone who preorders a Deck today should see one in their hands between September and December.<\/p>\n<p>Tokyo Game Show attendees were able to get a hands-on Steam Deck and make friends with Valve&#8217;s new mascot, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/valves-adorable-steam-deck-mascot-is-my-new-best-friend\/\">Steam Pal<\/a>, just as it prepares to launch in most regions of Asia \u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"see-more see-more--clipped\">\n<p>Some more good news: We&#8217;ve beaten our own production estimates yet again!
