However, Yacht Club Games has announced his return to the realm of platformers with a release date for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/shovel_knight_dig\">Shovel Knight Dig<\/a>, coming to Switch (and Steam and Apple Arcade) on 23rd September.<\/p>\n<p>Originally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2021\/11\/sorry-folks-shovel-knight-dig-has-been-delayed-until-next-year\">scheduled for release last year<\/a>, this next chapter in the series is a co-development between Yacht Club and Nitrome (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/bomb_chicken\">Bomb Chicken<\/a>) and sees ol&#8217; SK going up against a team of thieves led by Drill Knight.
