Last year, we offered exclusive PlayStation 5 MyTEAM challenges such as \u201cAssists against Dirk & Luka\u201d to begin Season 1 of NBA 2K22. The latest iteration of the NBA 2K franchise will showcase similar challenges on PlayStation 5, but this year they revolve around Michael Jordan, further highlighting this year\u2019s Championship Edition cover athlete.<\/p>\n
Courtesy of PlayStation 5\u2019s next-level tech, navigating to the Jordan Challenges is incredibly easy. By pressing the PS Button, while on the Main Menu, each of the Activity Cards will appear in a row. Scroll through each of the 2K23 modes which appear on Activity Cards, and when you\u2019re ready, press SQUARE to start the Activity. It\u2019s truly that easy.<\/p>\n
Below, we\u2019ve mapped out the challenges releasing with each Season this year, so you can get a sneak preview of what\u2019s to come!<\/p>\n
Season 1: Rookie of the Year<\/h2>\n
When Jordan set foot on the hardwood as a rookie, he wasted no time establishing himself as a bonafide force on both offense and defense. To kick off the first Season of NBA 2K23, you\u2019ll be tasked with stopping him and his \u201885 Chicago Bulls teammates. Assemble a lineup and score 50 points as a team to beat Jordan and receive your reward.<\/p>\n
Season 2: The All-Star Dunker<\/h2>\n
Jordan always possessed raw athleticism, but he put it on full display during the 1988 All-Star Weekend, earning his second consecutive Slam Dunk Contest win. Meet the Slam Dunk Champion and All-Star MVP at the rim, along with his \u201888 Eastern Conference All-Star teammates. Throw down 10 ferocious dunks to successfully complete the challenge.<\/p>\n
Season 3: Defense Wins Championships<\/h2>\n
MJ\u2019s defense proved to be a major contributing factor in his 1991 NBA Finals victory, securing the first ring of his career. Show the nine-time All-Defense player you\u2019re capable of your own lockdown defense by swatting down five shots.<\/p>\n
Season 4: Win as a Team<\/h2>\n
His Airness took home the hardware for Most Valuable Player and Finals MVP in 1992, but he couldn\u2019t have done it without the support of his teammates. Despite being an exceptional scorer, Jordan was also a standout facilitator. Dish out 10 team assists in Season 4 to claim your reward.<\/p>\n
Season 5: Three-Peat Triples<\/h2>\n
By 1993, the Chicago Bulls looked unstoppable. With Jordan leading the way, the Bulls did what few teams in NBA history have accomplished by winning three consecutive NBA Finals. To honor the three-peat, hit five three-pointers against the Bulls in MyTEAM and give them a taste of their own medicine.<\/p>\n
Season 6: Flying Air Jordan<\/h2>\n
The 1996 All-Star team featured high-flying talent, headlined by Michael Jordan. The All-Star game is typically a dunk-fest, where the league\u2019s most gifted players unleash a flurry of slams. Elevate your MyTEAM lineup to victory by soaring above the rim for 10 dunks and secure your reward.<\/p>\n
Season 7: Face the 72-Win Bulls<\/h2>\n
In 1996, the sports world thought the Chicago Bulls\u2019 record of 72 wins would be untouchable, and for over 20 years it was. Season 7\u2019s challenge is an homage to the record-breaking Bulls, requiring you to score 72 points against them and win. Think you\u2019re up to the task?<\/p>\n
Season 8: Behind the Arc Range<\/h2>\n
The game has changed through the years, with more teams and players leaning heavily on the three-point shot. While it\u2019s more prevalent today than it was in the \u201890s, there were flashes of three-point attacks during Jordan\u2019s era. Unleash a barrage of three-pointers and drain 10 of them as a team to achieve the goal.<\/p>\n
Season 9: The G.O.A.T\u2019s Final Challenge<\/h2>\n
Michael Jordan\u2019s last dance was a spectacle to behold. The Bulls completed their second three-peat of the \u201890s with their win in the 1998 NBA Finals. Jordan put on a clinic in Game 6 to close out the series with 45 points, adding to an already impressive legacy. Replicate Jordan\u2019s memorable outing with a 45-point game of your own.<\/p>\n
