Studio GSC Game World was based in Kyiv but has had to help its staff and their families relocate, during which period it also changed the game&#8217;s name: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/stalker-2-renamed-heart-of-chornobyl-to-reflect-ukrainian-spelling\/\">hit&#8217;s now Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl<\/a>, reflecting the Ukrainian spelling of the region.<\/p>\n<p>The game was still scheduled for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/stalker-2-delay-december\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">December launch<\/a> though, given the circumstances, this seemed increasingly optimistic.
