You wouldn’t complain about a free lunch, would you? Well, maybe you would \u2014 if the lunch was something you’d never eaten before, and it came with utensils you’d never used before, and no one told you how to actually consume it. That’s a bit like how I feel picking up Dead Cells<\/a> for the first time. Although it’s technically<\/em> the second time…<\/p>\n

I first played Dead Cells long before it came out. I just happened to be at a French indie game convention, and there just happened to be these two French game devs looking for journalists to try out their in-development game, and I just happened to be about the only journalist there. They sat me down at a table, opened up a laptop, and showed me a game called Dead Cells.<\/p>\n
