I\u2019m stoked to be able to tell you all that Exo One will be landing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this summer. Exo One began five years ago with a relatively simple idea about using gravity as a movement mechanic, and gradually grew into something strange and special, inspired by my love for sci-fi cinema and games that moved me emotionally. I\u2019m super excited to see it find a new audience and reach new technical heights with this PS5 port.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode shortcode--youtube\">\n<div class=\"youtube-video\">\n\t<button class=\"youtube-video__load-button\">\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Play  Video<\/span><br \/>\n\t<\/p><\/button>\n<div class=\"youtube-video__iframe\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p class=\"\">In Exo One you\u2019ll embark on a journey beyond the solar system, discovering everything from terrestrial deserts to dreamy gas giants as the pilot of an alien probe. Glide and roll across the landscape, controlling gravity itself to reach colossal speeds and exhilarating heights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52033102805_8f3e9a3f65_h.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">You\u2019ll ride thermal updrafts into boiling cloud formations, careen down hillsides, and launch off mountain tops, all the time drifting toward the shining blue beam on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52033103555_c0f81f6a0c_h.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">I designed this game as a sort of meditative focus on traversal. There\u2019s no timer measuring your progress, monsters, or enemies to fight. It\u2019s really about the atmosphere and the blend of speed and stillness, like a flowing roller coaster.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"\">Immersive PS5 Experience<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">PS5 players with high refresh rate TVs or monitors will have the option to experience the game at its smoothest and most responsive, thanks to the 120fps support we\u2019ve added. We\u2019ve also managed to add some extra features for the DualSense wireless controller, with haptics that reflect the terrain and weather of each planet, creating a more immersive experience than ever before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52032835269_253d31cb62_h.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">There\u2019s wind resistance in the game, which makes flying more challenging. Thanks to the PS5\u2019s haptics, you\u2019ll feel the resistance on the trigger while going into gliding through winds and updrafts.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"\">The terrain you\u2019re traversing will influence the vibrations too\u2014on some types of it your journey will be accompanied with steady pulsations, while others will give a stronger, shakier vibration.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"\">Controller vibrations change depending on your speed.
