The free-to-play is now live on Switch.
Today is a new era for Blizzard’s Overwatch series, with the company rolling out Overwatch 2 across multiple platforms including the Nintendo Switch. It’s free-to-play, features cross-platform play and progression, and can be downloaded now from the Switch eShop.
This new game will receive seasonal updates, new heroes, maps, game modes, cosmetics and more on a regular basis. Players can log in to play as the new support hero Kiriko and a number of other new characters such as the Junker Queen (tank) and Sojourn (damage) – with the roster being bumped up to 35 heroes.
