Data on Europe’s best selling games during the month of August is now available courtesy of GameIndustry.biz, showcasing a strong presence from Nintendo with Nintendo Switch Sports being the best selling physical game.
Coming in at number seven in the charts (keep in mind that Nintendo doesn’t provide data on its digital sales), Nintendo Switch Sports lands just ahead of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Leading the pack at number one is Grand Theft Auto 5 which, coincidentally, also topped the charts during August of 2021. On the other end of the scale, Mario Strikers: Battle League comes in at number twenty, while Xenoblade Chronicles 3 enters at number nineteen.
